Provence Farmhouse
The house itself is a Grand Mas in the Provencal style. Legend has it that the chatelaine of Le Grand Fontanille built the mas as a convenient house in which to install his mistress.
The refined color-palette is both quiet and thought-provoking. A muted blend of pattern, color, and style helped ensure this farmhouse continued to be a sophisticated retreat for the occupants. This space was all about editing-- leaving the visitor wanting more. Natural light floods the space, highlighting the carefully chosen furnishings, fabrics, and accessories.
It was humbling to be a part of this project, as this phase of the home's life was one of many that has expanded over centuries.
